I just thought I would share with everyone the reviews that I have done on this game for both the PSP and the Nintendo DS/DSi.
For all interested just click on the link and follow it from there. I really wish they would do like a Dawn of War type game for the XBOX 360 or THQ should branch WH40K games towards the PS3. I like the actual miniature game but it's nice to play video games on these things once and awhile.
As promised today I will cover and review the only three games I have played and one game up and coming. Let's start with the first game I played which was called Final Liberation: Epic 40,000. The game was for Windows 95 and created by SSI and in my opinion this game was fun at first and then the more and more you play it you say to yourself, "Why don't I just play real Epic 40K!" Seriously though it got really boring after the second or third time playing it. My next title was Fire Warrior for the PS2. I was actually at Games Day when they were previewing this title by THQ and I was impressed when I was playing it at the convention. You get to be a Fire warrior battling Chaos, Imperial Guard and the Space Marines. What I also liked about this first person shooter was the amazing graphics and the multiplayer mode. It was an amazing game (http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/action/firewarrior/media.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=tabs&tag=tabs;videos). My next game series was for the PC entitled the Dawn of War. This was such a good game they made three of them and hopefully they keep going. What I like most is that it's like Starcraft and Warcraft. The design is great, the videos are great and the gameplay is great. Currently I am playing the Dark Crusade as the Tau and this one I think blows away the other two because you can conquer territory and each territory you get it adds a little something to your army. Our next review is of the up and coming title by EA Games: Warhammer Online: The Age of reckoning. EA has made the Warhammer Fantasy universe into a World of Warcraft type game. It could be interesting and the screenshots and videos look great and it even looked fantastic at this year's games day. http://pc.ign.com/objects/748/748723.html this link gives a good overview. That's it for today. One last thing to think about though, I think that Starcraft got it's idea from Warhammer. Take for example thier marines, the protoss and the Zerg. Can we say Space Marines, Tau and Tyranids.
More to come tommorrow...
